Landed in three days. The steel case feels heftier than the photos let on, in a good way, and the leather strap softened after about a week so it stopped digging in across the wrist. Wore it through a full workday and forgot it was on.
That worldmap subdial is the bit everyone clocks first. Snapped this after a red-eye into Lisbon. The sheen on the black dial photographs better than I expected, and it held up fine against a white shirt cuff.
Dial's lovely, black with a bit of a sheen under the office strip lights. Only gripe is the leather strap, which needed a couple of days to break in and felt a touch rigid at first. Sits soft by the fourth day.
Chronograph pushers have a crisp click to them, no mush. Been wearing it daily with the sleeves rolled. The steel picks up the light and still reads as understated at a desk.
Bought it for my own 30th and it hasn't left my wrist since. The stainless case sits low enough to slide under a jacket sleeve. Black face goes with pretty much everything I own, from a suit to a denim jacket.
